w   Who are your students?    

     

I offer lessons to the full range of learners - from complete beginners to those at an advanced level.

My students are business people, travelers, students, those studying for Chinese proficiency exams (e.g., HSK), teachers, and individuals    fascinated by Chinese language and culture who simply want to learn more.

     

     

w   How are lessons structured? 

Lessons are generally one-on-one but small group lessons can also be arranged. Scheduling can be flexible, based on your needs.

     

     

w   What materials do you use?

     

Learning materials are tailored to the goals and level of each student. A high-quality textbook provides a basic framework for progressing in the language. 

     

Beyond that, a hallmark of my approach – and one that my students particularly enjoy – is a range of authentic, interesting and relevant materials that I    select or develop based on your specific goals, needs, and interests. These may include articles from Chinese newspapers and periodicals, Chinese TV programs, Chinese games and puzzles, and    learning tools and exercises I develop specifically to match your needs.
